Add to Wishlist

A wood-based cellulose fibre for spinning, carding, felting, dyeing, paper making and blending with other fibres.

What is Tencel? Also known as lyocell, it's a plant-based fibre made from wood pulp, usually from hardwoods like oak and birch. It isn't an animal fibre, and it blends beautifully with wool, silk and cotton.

Please note: as it's a cellulose (plant) fibre, it won't dye with Ashford dyes, which are made for wool, silk and other animal fibres.

Staple length approx. 13cm (5¼").

Available in both 100g bags and 500g bumps.
