Why not add some variety to your next project and choose from a selection of dpi's - with a 2.5dpi for chunky novelty yarn through to 15dpi for super fine yarn. With the built in double heddle kit you can always double the fun by choosing two of the same dpi reeds. All our Ashford Looms come with a 7.5dpi Reed.
Which dpi do I need? Use 2.5dpi for chunky and art yarns, 5dpi for thick yarns and rugs, 7.5dpi for 8 ply and most projects, 10dpi for 4 ply, and 12.5 or 15dpi for fine 2 ply, cotton and silk. That makes 12.5 or 15dpi perfect for 5/2 cotton tea towels.
Made from strong, durable nylon with Silver Beech rails in a natural timber finish. Wide eye for novelty yarns.
The reeds come in 40, 60, 80 and 120**cm widths to fit the standard Rigid Heddle Looms.
