Our most popular loom has become even more versatile! With this new stand your Rigid Heddle Loom is in an upright position which is very comfortable when weaving tapestries or using other hand-manipulated techniques.
The angle of the stand can be adjusted to suit. The kit includes adjustable stand with rubber feet and extra side posts to hold the reed in place.
It's simple to assemble and you can use it with your 40cm, 60cm and 80cm Rigid Heddle Looms. Not recommended for use with the 120cm Rigid Heddle Loom as it may not support fully when weaving on it.
Can I still use the loom for weaving as normal using the heddle not just for tapestry weaving?

Yes, the Rigid Heddle is a wonderful and versatile Loom. With the Loom purchase, you will get a little booklet "Learn to Weave of the Rigid Heddle" in here you will find your first project which is a scarf. But in the book "The Ashford Book of Rigid Heddle Weaving" you will learn how to create exciting and beautiful garments and homeware. Teaching techniques such as brooks bouquet, soumak, huck and superfine weaving and also lessons on how to use the second heddle kit which is included as standard on the Loom.
